Sherry smiles as she talks. I love that.
When I met Sherry the first time, it was her smile that caught my eye. She is always smiling, and it's infectious. You cannot help but smile when Sherry is around. And if by chance she isn't making you grin, her dog (Jack) will.
When Sherry asked me to do family portraits, and mentioned there was a dog.... I have to admit I was slightly nervous. I love dogs, they just don't always like to listen to me. But armed with plenty of treats, and Jack's amazing training, the shoot when great. Even with horses in the background he sat patiently as we arranged the family.... and that is enough to make any photographer smile!

Josh and Mary
Jake
The hardest thing for me to do is photograph those I truly, deeply, love. This family- Jake and his parents Maurice and Jamie are three of my favorite people on this earth. I've known Jamie over 20 years. These pictures were taken the first time I ever met Jake. It's amazing how you can love someone so completely, even before his personality is really formed. But really.... look at that adorable child.... who couldn't love him? He's perfect!
